For 40 years The Red Oak Comfort Food & Pie Co. has featured our homemade chicken and biscuits every Saturday.  It is now available for home delivery and shipping.

To serve in the Red Oak dinning room, our cooks take our flaky biscuits out of the oven cut in half and smother in our creamy chicken gravy.  Our chicken and biscuit gravy is made from our creamy white sauce, flavored with pulled cooked chicken, carrots, celery and a hint of the herbs rosemary and thyme and finished off with a dash of kosher salt and white pepper to taste.  It is slow cooked for hours so all flavors come thru.

To make it available for home delivery and shipping for the ease of our one pan meals and freezing we cook several of our  biscuits and crumble them in the bottom of the pan. We then cover them with our chicken gravy and top them off with our home made biscuit batter.  As the pan cooks in your oven,  the biscuits on top cook to a golden brown as the rest of the pan warms to the serving temperature.

It will be as if you spent hours making homemade biscuits and a creamy chicken gravy when all it took was the time for you to cook in the oven and serve to your family.  Also, think about sending it as a gift.

We are pleased to announce our new website! We have been working hard over the past two months trying tobetter fulfill our clients needs and managing the increasing demand for our food. We are still working through a few things but most everything is up and running. There are so many exciting things about the new site I don’t even know where to start.
