Education for a Lifetime
  • Relationships are important and take work.

According to the survey research center at the University of Michigan, “90% of high school seniors say that a good marriage and family life is ‘quite’ or ‘extremely’ important to them.”  So how do you make this a reality?

The average American gets married at the age of 25. 25 may seem like a long time from now, but it will sneak up on you faster than you think! It’s important to start preparing for your marriage now through the relationships that you are in now! Here are three things to consider about your current and future relationships.

1Determine the qualities you would like to see in the person you marry and start practicing those qualities in your own life,

2Practice relationship skills now that will help you have a healthy marriage.

3Make sure that you are building your relationships on a strong foundation today so that when marriage becomes a possibility, you’ve practiced building healthy foundations in your relationships and you’ve learned to place importance on the things that really matter.
